Web Promotion

Every web site needs promotion.  If you're in business and have a product or service to sell, then you probably spend a lot of money on literature promoting them.  A web site is no different!  In short, it has to engage and inform your audience and compel them to buy your product withing the timespace of their attention span!

That's all very well and assuming your web site has been made for that purpose, you'll do well once the 'audience' arrives.  The problem is this - we call it 'traffic' - A web site without proper promotion is like a brochure that sits in its box inside the front door of your business.  Only the people who come in actually see it.  Even then they probably won't read it since they already know what they want.  

That's we come in!  Traditionally, you would deliver your brochure to people who made enquiries or even send it out to prospects.  On the web, when people are looking for a product or service, they use a search engine such as Google or Yahoo! They type in what they are looking for and then click on one of the advertisements or on the listing of sites that rank the highest for the term that they searched for. 

The difference between the advert and the listing is that you pay for the advert every time someone clicks on it and the 'organic' listing is free!Therefore its more attractive in the long-term to have a good placement on the organic listing and that's where we come in!

We will recommend web site changes and additions on order to ensure that your site is able to compete amongst the millions of web pages out there.  We will work with you to establish trust in your web site from a search engine's perspective.  It takes time and effort and its something that really needs to be considered at the same time as the site is commissioned - the same as a brochure really - there's no point in printing it if you're not going to give it to anyone!
